Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962, is an American actress from America. In 1983, following her film debut Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat pack group of actors. She was in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) as well as WarGames. Sheedy earned an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Actress for her part in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy is an American actor and author. Sheedy began her acting career in the film Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie, which also featured prominent stars Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. After her success in a movie she starred on screen in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes' film is widely regarded as one of the best high school movies of all time. Despite the budget of 1 million dollars, the film's profits exceeded $50 million. Between then the actress began appearing on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first TV appearance. It was a program specifically for teens that began airing in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are a few of the other series in which she's appeared. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister, a film featuring a superhero in which Sheedy plays the role of a tiny cameo. Sheedy received numerous prizes in 2005 for her performance. She also received the an MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
